Bespoke Freshwater Planted Aquarium for Discus, Residential

We installed this stunning 3.2m long aquarium in a living room and it has become a centre piece of the room. The bespoke cabinetry helps to tie this aquarium in with the rest of the room. This aquarium was setup and aquascaped using large rocks and driftwood, it was then heavily planted with a mixture of live plant species to provide an overall natural look. There are 20 Stendker discus as the show piece fish for the aquarium along with 500 tetras to act as dither fish. This aquarium boasts newly released planted aquarium LED lights which are controlled via an app. This aquarium has a sump underneath, so all the equipment is hidden, this aquarium is controlled by an Apex Neptune system we installed, the system monitors the temperature, pH and power usage of the system. We have installed a series of float switches and via the Apex system we can monitor water levels in the aquarium from the other side of the world!
